WATCH: Kanye Channels Mr. T For Macy’s Parade
Of Kanye‘s many fashion obsessions — Lanvin, Phillip Lim, models — Mr. T is by far the oddest. Why is Mr. T a style influence for a man who loves fashion so much he said it breaks his heart? We just don’t know. This fall Yeezy starting donning some serious Mr. T bling, but he took it up a notch at yesterday’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
9 Absurdly Branded Holiday Gifts
We’re not quite sure why, but this picture of the Jacobs by Marc Jacobs for Marc by Marc Jacobs in collaboration with Marc Jacobs for Marc by Marc Jacobs (say that five times fast) tote has been making the rounds this week. Marc‘s cheeky nod to vapid logo-loving is one of the reasons we adore him, but other labels (including his own Louis Vuitton) are a bit more earnest in their excessive branding.
Kate Middleton’s See-Through Dress Is Not For Sale
Once upon a time (actually in March 2002), a girl who did not know she would one day be a princess put on a see-through dress and sashayed her way down a runway in a fashion show at the University of St. Andrews. That girl was Kate Middleton, and her husband-to-be, Prince William, was sitting front row and whispered to a friend “Kate’s hot!” when she came down the runway. The rest, as they say, is history.
Holiday Food Stains Are So Not Worth The Drama
When you do suffer a holiday food stain (because you will, or might already have done so during Thanksgiving), it might behoove you to follow a few tips from our friend Gwen Whiting, one of the co-founders of J.Crew‘s favorite line of detergents The Laundress. For all the fancy unguents and lotions she sells to help clothes shine like new, Whiting has a refreshingly straightforward (and emotionally mature) approach to removing even the worst kinds of stains.
RUMOR: Will Tom Ford Collaborate With H&M?
In this morning’s tryptophan-induced grogginess, we weren’t exactly sure why we were seeing news of a Tom Ford for H&M collection in our newsfeed. But it was there, so our hearts started beating faster as we dreamed and fantasized about what such a collaboration might look like, or what it might cost. And then we clicked.
9 Fabulously Stylish Things We’re Thankful For This Thanksgiving
Besides being a day of delicious food, family fights, and — for most of America — football, Thanksgiving is also a day of giving thanks. And while you’re supposed to be offering your gratitude to heartfelt things, like family (even though they fight), friends, and the turkey for being so delicious, we’ve also found there’s so shortage of fashionable things for which we would like to offer the most passionate and heartfelt of thanks: a slideshow!

Georgia May Jagger Wore False Lashes In Rimmel Mascara Ad
Mascara ads have always mystified us. Can the product in question really give you such exaggerated results without looking clumpy and gross? Rimmel has proven that no, their mascara can’t. But they’d like you to think otherwise, which is why they outfitted Georgia May Jagger in a lush pair of falsies for their most recent advertising campaign.
Irina Shayk Accuses GQ Spain Of Editing Out Her Clothes
Sports Illustrated model Irina Shayk is reportedly up in arms over her cover and spread for the December issue of GQ Spain. According to a press release sent out by ARC NY Talent PR — which just so happens to be Marc Jacobs‘ ex Lorenzo Martone’s agency — Shayk posed for the European glossy in varying degrees of undress, but never naked. The resulting 14-page spread features three images of Shayk completely nude — a look she claims was achieved post-production.
Minnie Gets Leggy For F21 And Other Bad Cartoon Makeovers
Sometimes you just don’t mess with an original. First Mean Girls, and now Minnie Mouse – what is with this week, people? Disney has redesigned the cartoon icon for Forever 21, and the resulting rodent is totally creepy looking.
Scotland: No More Going Commando Under Your Kilts!
The fine art of going commando under kilts may soon be going the way of the Dodo. According to the Scottish Tartan Authority — the organization in charge of managing the standards of Highland dress which, yes, exists — wearing a kilt sans underwear is not only unhygienic, it’s not even tradition.
Models Sue Next Management For Stealing Their Money
Back in May, Next Management filed a lawsuit against Ford Models, alleging that the rival agency poached three of its models: Karmen Pedaru, Anna Aleksandra Cywinska, and Anna Jagodzinska. Shortly thereafter, Ford sued Next for stealing their bookers (which they allege helps Next consistently poach their models), and now the models themselves are getting in on the lawsuit action by suing Next for stealing their wages.
Isaac Mizrahi Achieves His NYC Real Estate Dream For $3.5M
Manhattan real estate has been known to drive people mad, as the search for that elusive perfect apartment can take a lifetime. It helps when you have plenty of cash to spare, but even then it’s a horribly miserable process. Take Isaac Mizrahi. The super-successful designer found his dream home years ago, but was only able to snatch it up this fall.
PHOTOS: Kim Kardashian Is Now Shilling For Charmin
Just yesterday, Kim Kardashian and her mother Kris Jenner announced they were partnering with Sketchers Shape-Ups shoes — you know, those funny looking sneakers that are supposed to (but probably won’t) give you a better butt? — an endorsement which some were concerned might be in conflict with a previous deal she had with Reebok. Then, a few hours later, Kardashian dropped by Times Square for the “5th Annual Charmin Restrooms Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.” While we’re not sure what that means, we do know the chances of inter-endorsement conflict are slim.
PHOTOS: Nicki Minaj Rocks Rainbow Locks In New York
Nicki Minaj may have a Kanye endorsement, but we still think she’s a second-rate Lady Gaga. Case in point: her new rainbow ‘do. We’re not quite sure what to make of it, but we know it’s no Gaga dye job. In fact, we’re pretty sure it’s a wig. A really bad wig.
WATCH: They Just Don’t Make Jean Ads Like They Used To
We’re suckers for a good Time Warp, but usually for more nostalgic and/or impassioned reasons. This Wrangler jeans commercial from the ’80s is just, well, strange.
CONFIRMED: Karl Will Be Doing A Capsule Collection For Macy’s
Yesterday our hearts were all aflutter after we heard that Karl Lagerfeld would be selling his rumored “masstige” line at Macy’s. UnBeige got the delicious scoop, and it sounded super-legit. Today Macy’s confirmed the rumor, but the collaboration entails something a bit different from what we initially hoped for. Karl is indeed teaming up with Macy’s — but only for a limited edition capsule collection.
