I’m sad to announce that today will be my last day as senior editor of Styleite. I am excited to tell you that I will be headed to Club Monaco‘s marketing department — a brand I have always loved.
On Wednesday, Natalie Portman and cast celebrated the premiere of Darren Aronofsky’s The Black Swan at the 67th Annual Venice Film Festival. We know, we know. We’ve been sort of stalking Jessica Alba. But that’s only because she’s in Venice for the Film Festival and has been wearing such, well, eye-grabbing outfits.
We’re used to talking about Simon Doonan in the context of his post as creative director of Barneys New York. But Doonan’s side projects — one of which includes a humorous column for the New York Observer — is what makes his public persona all the more robust.

Fashion is famous for its nonsensical trends; so famous that we’ve rounded up eight repeat offenders, some of which — despite all their impracticality — we can’t help but love.
Patti Stanger is never afraid to tell it like it is — to her bachelors and bachelorettes, her staff, and apparently her stylist, as well.
We at Styleite are always cautious of the shrinking celebrity. But one celebrity — and one we watch very closely — is shrinking in a slightly different way. According to WWD, Kate Moss‘ line for TopShop will be a little smaller in upcoming seasons.
Last night’s Emmy Awards was too jam packed with fashion commentary for us to fit it into one post. So we’re giving you two more. And to start the day off on a happy note, here are our picks for the best dressed of the night.
One man tried his best Barbie outfit on as a disguise in an attempted armed robbery. Armed with a gun, a pink jumpsuit, a blonde wig, and a white handbag, a man entered a stationary store in Lynbrook, Long Island.
Earlier Thursday morning, two big rigs collided onto a dirt path off of I-80. But the crash in and of itself isn’t what’s causing buzz.
