WATCH: 365 Layers Of Makeup Applied In A Single Sitting

If you’ve ever laid awake at night, wondering what it would look like if someone applied an entire year’s worth of makeup in a single sitting, well, wonder no longer. Nowness, along with directors Lernert & Sander, teamed up with a pair of makeup artists to painstakingly apply 365 layers of foundation, blush, lip gloss, and cream eyeshadow on model Hannelore Knuts‘s face in a single and what was presumably very, very, very long day.

The process took a total of nine non-stop hours and the pair used over seven bottles of foundation, two bottles of eye shadow, three containers of lip gloss, and two bottles of blush. Honestly, we love makeup, but by about halfway through this video, we were nauseous.
