PHOTOS: Adele Rocks A Louboutin Manicure At The Grammys
We don’t normally pay all that much attention to nails in the context of a red carpet look, mainly because most celebs keep tend to keep it simple: short and neutral. But Adele’s dagger-sharp and two-toned talons made us sit up and take notice — and in a good way.
The singer wore what we like to call the Louboutin Manicure, wherein the nails are painted one color, and the underside are painted another. In this case (and in most others, probably because another color like green or purple might just look dirty), Adele opted for a classic red on the underside and a metallic steel blue on the top.
A Loub mani obviously requires some length on the nails, and while we normally prefer ours as short as possible, we think Adele rocked the look. (And, let’s be real, the whole show.)
UPDATE: Adele’s manicure was done by Mike Pocock using Ciaté Paint Pot in Jewel on top and Ciaté Paint Pot in Mistress underneath, both of which will be available at Sephora in March.
