Beauty Beat: 3 Concealers We’re Currently Obsessed With

In case you can’t tell by the fact that this is our second beauty post of the day, we’re really obsessed with makeup. And while Julia gave you the rundown this morning about base blush (not to be confused with powder blush, which serves only as a secondary layer in our books), I’m here to talk concealer. Because if there’s one thing I’m really neurotic about (and trust me when I say I have a tendency to be pretty neurotic), it’s under eye circles. I hate them. So here’s how I like to hide them.

P.S. For an example of my neurosis, look no further than that pic of Sasha up there. She’s gorgeous, but all I see are bags. Bagsbagsbagsbagsbags everywhere.

P.P.S. While we do get a lot of freebies, everything on this list I’ve purchased with my own cold, hard-earned cash. Not that it makes a difference as to my opinion, but I thought perhaps you might find that extra comforting.

Ugh, dark circles I’ve battled dark circles my whole life, and I’ve spent far too much money to try and combat them! I’ve been dying to try the first, but am reluctant to fork over the cash without seeing it in person to choose the correct colours. Often I find even though I’m fair, the formulas for medium skin tones work best at hiding those dreaded circles. FYI Boots’ Radiant Glow is nearly exact to YSL Touché Éclat and it’s under $20! Unfortunately I haven’t been able to get the salmon coloured one in the US, but the peachy colour works pretty well. It’s available at Target and on the Boots US site.

Thank you for the reccos! Ordering the Boots one now. I’m fair and I use the trio for “Fair / Medium”. I totally agree re: darker formulas, so I used the middle color up first and then I started mixing the really light with a touch of the darker one and that worked wonderfully. And it lasted me almost a year.
