Dita Von Teese’s Fragrance Will Have ‘A Dash Of Vulgarity’
We happen to find perfume explanations hilarious, perhaps because we’re immature or maybe because our scent vocabulary is pretty limited. (Not everyone can be Andre Galletois, okay?) Dita Von Teese has announced via Twitter that she is developing her own fragrance, and her description of the smell is kind of silly!
Because first there was this:
Isolated at a chateau in the French countryside w/my perfumers. “No fruit, no vanilla, no candy!! Velvet sensuality w/a dash of vulgarity!”
Yes, velvet sensuality with a dash of vulgarity. And then there was this:
I want to evoke passion with fragrance….intense love/lust and distaste/fear rather than merely popular acceptance.
Well, sure. We wonder if Dita’s scent will sell as well Fergie‘s iced berry/racy black leather concoction. The world of celebrity fragrance is fascinating, no?
