WATCH: Is Fabio Really The New Old Spice Guy?

Old Spice has replaced their irreplaceable spokesman Isaiah Mustafa (the one who said, “Hello, ladies”) with Fabio.

Yes, Fabio, the 50-year-old Italian model who is best known for being on romance novel covers. Yes, Fabio the guy who once schilled for that butter substitute product. Yes, Fabio, he of the long, flowing hair.

We’re not saying that Fabio isn’t awesome, but like, did you see the Isaiah Mustafa commercials? Those weren’t just ads. They were comedic art. Take a look at one of Fabio’s new ads (there are a total of four 30-second spots presently) and compare it to the ad with the guy on the horse. Then, tell us what you think. Should Old Spice bring the old guy back, or should they stick with the new … old guy.
