PETA Justifiably Upset At Real Housewife Hocking Fox Fur Bikini Treatments
Most salons and spas offer pretty luxurious services, but The Foxy Bikini, a new service offered at the New York salon of Real Housewife Cindy Barshop in which fox fur is affixed to your nether regions, takes that concept to a completely ridiculous level. So ridiculous, in fact, that PETA has already come out against it.

The $225 service is one of two new animalistic bikini treatments available at Barshop’s Completely Bare salon, which is the same place that gave the world the Vajewel (a portmanteau we decline to explain, as this is a family website). The other one is called The Carnivale Bikini, and it involves putting colorful feathers from tropical birds around your most special area.
So what inspired these designs? Apparently, Barshop thought women who could afford expensive Birkins would like to wear very trendy merkins.
“People are loving the concept, it is so over the top,” Barshop, 40, told TODAY.com. “Feathers and colorful fur were shown on a lot of the runway shows and I thought, let’s bring back the merkin incorporating these hot trends and allow ladies to wear something fabulous down there.”
But the people at PETA don’t think it’s fabulous at all. In fact, they’ve already denounced the treatment as frivolous and cruel to animals. “It’s outright sleazy, and it’s downright cruel to kill an animal to decorate your privates,” said PETA President Ingrid Newkirk.

Yeah. We don’t know about you, but we’re sticking with cotton down there. Tell us if you’d ever “wear something fabulous down there” in the comments.
