It’s shaping up to be a big week for Gucci. Hot on the heels of the epic Chime for Change Sound of Change concert, rumors are swirling that the Italian house is developing a makeup line to launch next year.
According to WWD, a spokesman for Procter & Gamble Co.’s Prestige — the beauty company that Gucci has held a contract with since 2006 — has declined to comment on the reports. Despite the fact that there’s been no official confirmation, our minds are already daydreaming about what Frida Giannini might have in store. Jewel tones, anyone?
We think it’s been a long time coming given that the brand’s foray into fragrance has been so successful. If you’re as excited as we are, take a look at our review for the Gucci Guilty Black perfume and be sure to watch the Gucci Première campaign video featuring one very emblazoned Blake Lively.
