In the Styleite offices we showed our support of gay marriage through all things rainbow. Yesterday Queen Elizabeth did it for the Brits by giving royal birth to a new same-sex marriage bill.
Now street style photographer/jealousy harvester Hanneli Mustaparta is showing her support by doing what she does best: Spotting new trends, giving them an unexpected twist and just generally looking phenomenal.
In the inaugural episode of Vogue’s new video series Beauty Mark, Hanneli takes nail art for a test drive as she gets ready for an event with Calvin Klein and the Human Rights Campaign for marriage equality. After a consultation with Vogue.com’s beauty director Catherine Piercy, she decides on a sheer nail with the now-viral symbol in opaque white. In the process of doing this she also says “white” lots of times in that accent, which is a thing we could listen to all day.
