Friends may have aired its last episode more than eight years ago, taking Rachel Green and her storied locks with it, but Jennifer Aniston‘s hair is still making headlines. Okay, maybe just today — the actress has just announced her partnership with Living Proof, a Massachusetts-based line of hair products. As all of those beakers and test tubes in the photo suggest, the line is backed by scientific research, more specifically the research of MIT professor Dr. Robert Langer, and going forward, Aniston will also lend a hand by contributing ideas for both development and marketing.
In a release, Aniston explained that she signed on not only as a spokesmodel, but as an investor as well after using the line herself:
“Over the years, my hair has been subjected to everything … blow dryers, flat irons, curling irons, color, extensions, you name it. My hair has taken a serious beating. After using these products, I felt like I finally discovered a solution that works every day. I could not be more excited to share Living Proof with the world.”
Guess this means Aniston is living proof of…Living Proof.
