WATCH: Black Swan Director Made A Commercial For Revlon

Because he’s gotta pay bills just like the rest of us, film director Darren Aronofsky directed a one-minute commercial for Revlon‘s new Grow Luscious Plumping mascara, a product which we can only presume will grow and plump your lashes, making them, um, luscious. But there are a couple of things that we think might make this commercial more expensive than your average beauty ad, and their names are Jessica Biel and Pharrell Williams.

Aronofsky casts Biel and Williams in a luxurious looking black and white world, and while she applies mascara in a fancy vanity, he serenades her with You Got Me, which sounds like it was written expressly for the commercial. It’s good, as far as mascara commercial grows, and we’d expect no less from the man who gave us Black Swan and Requiem for a Dream.
