Bieber’s New Perfume Debuts Today, Smells Like ‘Flirty Sophistication’

Today isn’t just the day that Justin Bieber‘s new album Believe comes out — it also happens to be the day the popstar is debuting his new scent Girlfriend.

A not-so-subtle reference to Believe‘s first single “Boyfriend”, Girlfriend is “kind of a more mature version of Someday”, says Bieber. Someday, of course, is his super successful fragrance with that goofy commercial. Bieber also told WWD that he’s “not interested in making a men’s fragrance” and brushed off questions about his real-life girlfriend Selena Gomez. Just like Someday, Girlfriend has a charitable component, with proceeds benefitting Pencils of Promise. But what will it smell like?!

The Girlfriend fragrance is described as a “flirty sophistication” with tops notes of sparkling pear, crisp mandarin, and rich blackberry; a heart of pink freesia, star jasmine, apricot nectar, and orange blossom, and a drydown of vanilla orchid and luminous musk.

The perfume will sell for $39-$59, and a hair mist and “touchable body lotion” (?) will also be available. No word on if a sundae is in the works. We can’t vouch for this fragrance, but we can vouch for the album which you should be downloading right this very minute.
