6-Year-Old Pageant Queen Eden Wood Takes Off Her Makeup

It’s sad when you think about how long it’s been since Little Miss Eden Wood of Toddlers and Tiaras has gone without wearing makeup — and even sadder when you remember that she’s just 6 years old. But all of that is made funny in this new video, where she and other child stars visit a childlike child psychologist.

The psychologist herself is the inimitable Kiernan Shipka, who plays little Sally Draper on Mad Men. Shipka counsels everyone from Modern Family‘s Nolan Gould to Danielle Fishel of Boy Meets World fame. She finally comes to Wood, who admits that she hasn’t seen what her real face looks like because she’s been wearing makeup her entire life. And lots of makeup at that.

“It’s hard to hold my neck up. My face is just so heavy. And my hair is so, so heavy. I live in constant fear of my face snapping my neck.”

So how do you resolve that fear? Take the makeup off, of course! Watch as Wood finally figures out what her face looks like. Her session starts at 2:46, but you should probably just watch the whole thing.
