Paula Deen’s Butter-Flavored Lip Balm Is The Stuff Of Dreams

Flavored lip balm is a thing we enjoy. While we are hardcore strawberry Lip Smacker devotees, we would be very interested in trying Paula Deen‘s butter-flavored lip balm. Yes, this is a thing that exists.

Grub Street reports that said lip balm can be procured at Paula’s store in Savannah, and that it also comes in key lime pie and banana pudding. Clearly we’re more interested in the butter variety. What does that really even taste like?! I’m envisioning buttered popcorn Jelly Bellies, while Verena thinks it’s probably reminiscent of I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter.

The most important thing about this is probably the slogan: ”Put a little South on your mouth”. PAULA, WE’RE BLUSHING! And now, photographic evidence:

Although food flavored lip balm has been around for some time, good on Paula Deen. I hope she remembered to send a complimentary case to Anthony Bourdain.
