  It’s pretty harmless… in isolation. But she’s wearing little heels too. That said, harassment in the media will make her grow quicker still.

  She’s wearing flats in these photos.

  The lipstick matched with the metallic purple Little Mermaid purse makes her look like a five year old playing dress-up.  I wouldn’t necessarily let my daughter leave the house in dress-up make up, but I also wouldn’t think that it denotes a little girl being forced into being womanly too soon if I saw a girl dressed like Suri in the above photos.

  Don’t we have enough crazy things to connect with the Cruise family without going after their five year old dressing like a five year old?

  im more sad for the fact that her skirt is about an inch long with no leggings under … sad. im sure she’s the new poster girl for all the anorexics out there.

  I think it’s inappropriate!

  I played dress up, I used my mother make up,  I even wore 5 inch heels when I was little (my aunt has very small feet) but my mom never let me go out of home in heels OR make up.Suri has her little heels, now red lipstick, next? she is going to be driving by age ten!!!

  The thing is that the media never balances out all this “big girl” stuff she does with the little girl things she does. No one ever bothers to cover her just acting like a little girl. It’s just lipstick, she’s not drinking or smoking. That said, I would never let a child wear high heels. They’re dangerous and don’t provide the proper support for a child’s feet.

  i wish i started wearing heels earlier then 24. 
  tho once i was little i would wear my princess heels. harmless.

  Its just dress up! Its not like she’s in a hooker costume like the Toddlers in Tiaras. I used to dress up a lot when I was younger too, and I didnt become a lolita or anything like that. Girls like to play pretend, adults like to overreact.

  the media needs to lay off in general, I get that her parents are huge stars but this kid is 5! She shouldnt be the topic of gossip blogs! I think this article and ones like it are way worse than a kid playing with her moms lipstick

  Seems a little out of place on such a young kid.
