Question Of The Day: Would You Take A Perfume Pill?

First we heard all about this gray hair pill business, and now we need to discuss the fact that a pill could one day take the place of perfume.

This is what the website for Swallowable Parfum claims:

Swallowable Parfum is a cosmetic capsule that enables human skin to emit a genetically unique scent about who we are and how we perform our identities. Once absorbed the skin becomes a platform, an atomizer; A biologically enhanced second skin synthesized directly from the natural processes of the body, redefining the role of skin.

Fragrance molecules are excreted through the skins surface during perspiration, leaving tiny droplets on the skin that emanate a unique odor. The potency of scent is determined by each individuals acclimatization to temperature, stress, exercise or sexual arousal.

    Sounds kind of cool. There are a lot of questions to be asked, like: how long will it last? Can I test it before hand to make sure that I don’t hate my own smell? I’d be interested in trying it.

    Yeah i would say the same, what if my natural perfume is gross(doubt it haha) but i would definitely try it! Is it safe?

    Don’t we already emit a perfume/scent that is based upon our own genetics and lifestyle?  This sounds like a hoax/art project.

    Synthetic perfumes have plenty of cancer causing chemicals (phthalates, etc). Wouldn’t want to swallow them or something like them.
