PHOTOS: Willie Nelson And Lance Bass Embrace The Lob

As the Seventeen Magazine Project brilliantly illustrates, pig-tails — especially after the age of 5 — are a hot-button issue. But we’ve always just made an exception for Willie Nelson. After all, the guy is pushing 80 and has been sporting this trademark tresses since forever. But, no more.

In today’s say it ain’t so news, the Associated Press reports that Mr. Nelson has finally chopped off his braids in favor of a Posh worthy lob (a.k.a. a long bob — we love a good portmanteau.) Why? Well, after a quarter century of the same old rinse-lather-repeat, seems he just got tired of it. You know, once you hit 77, the shine of being mistaken for Suri Cruise just wears off.

But, Willie’s not the only one singing a new tune. In news that is leaking faster than the containment dome, Lance Bass is currently in the midst of a hair raising transformation of his own. And from the looks of his latest Tweet, it involves shoulder-length brown extensions. We can’t even venture a guess as to why, but we’re 99% sure it has something to do with Suri.
