Masquerade Magazine is a fashion ad lifestyle publication based in Dubai. In its latest edition, Swedish model Zoe Aggeliki poses for photographer Pierre Dal Corso in Chanel, Hermes, Cartier, Chopard and more. She was styled by Jessica Santini, and though her outfits are quite basic, her hair is…bizarre.
Bizarre, yet strangely enviable. From a front-bun, to a mess of hair that seems to be functioning as a hat, the styles could be dismissed as goofy, but we think they might be innovative. As makeup gets more colorful and creative, hair seems to be the one beauty front that stays staunchly within certain confines: buns and braids, waves and curls, ponytails and bangs. Though oftentimes we’ll see strange hairstyles on the runway, extreme ‘dos are rarely considered for day-to-day wear. And while “wet” hair is a fall trend that hasn’t been overdone, we’re not sure if we want to buy enough gel to rock the look every day.
Front-buns, on the other hand, seem pretty easy. And though we’re not sure how some of the more geometric styles below were achieved, we’d seriously consider watching a tutorial.
