  This just might be the most depraved story I’ve read this year! This poor little girl is receiving no other message than “beauty counts most”. No discussions on “inner beauty”, values, what makes a good person, etc. etc. Tragic.

  Makes me sick. This woman should be teaching her daughter she is beautiful the way she is. What she is doing is sickening. Girls are often insecure as it is-let’s just make it worse. Her daughter should be taken away from her and given to a family who will love her for who she is and what she looks like without that crap.

  This is the first depraved story I actually thought must be a joke. It wouldn’t be a funny joke, but I couldn’t concieve it in my brain any other way. It’s sad we’re just short of April Fools day or else it might actually be an option. This is so incredibly sad I don’t know what else to say. Where on earth did an 8 year old get the idea that a boob job was desirable? She already thinks her body is imperfect and not good enough. Not once in her life did she get to enjoy those precious childhood years where you don’t even know beauty is something people worry over. And the virgin waxing —– that is so incredibly foul. How can a child legally be tattooed?!!?! That’s permanent! She’s not old enough to decide what she wants on her body forever. I want to go cry.

  Never mind the fact that to be an actual star, you really do have to have something more than the name “Britney” and a frozen face. I like poking fun at inane celebrity comments now and then too, but for the most part anyone who’s snagged significant media attention has at least one of the following: -marketing savvy, brains, wit, work ethic; -the money and business smarts to hire someone with one or more of those things.

  Britney and her mom have none of the above. After this story has its run, they’ll have nothing but botulism toxin’d, tatooed faces.

  Also, I really wish I didn’t know about the virgin wax thing. Utterly horrifying.

  Administering Botox to a child in California IS illegal if you aren’t a licensed physician or a licensed nurse administering it under a physician’s orders. She also is too young to be legally tattooed. No legit parlor would touch anyone under the age of 18, not even with parental consent. I expect that this lady will be on the wrong end of a lawsuit pretty fucking fast and have that kid taken away, as well she should.

  If you read the original story on this from “The Sun”, this woman is not from California, she is from England. The fact that it is in “The Sun” makes me doubt its validity. Even with this dubious source, it is still a horrible thing to do to children. What message is it sending to the children? That physical beauty should be attained at any cost and it is the most important aspect of a human. It’s just wrong, wherever it is happening.

  As a mother of a very beautiful 2 year old daughter, I want to say that this woman should be shot! At 8 years old this child has not even finished growing! A nose job? Yeah right, that makes sense seeing as how her body will continue to grow and change as she gets older most likely ruining any “jobs” she gets done. The same goes for a boob job! And no eight year old has any hair for a wax..if she does then maybe she needs to be tested for fake hormones. This whole thing makes me want to protect my daughter even more from people like that. Kelly should realize her daughter is beautiful no matter what she looks like on the outside..it’s what’s inside that counts!!!!!!!

  That her mother is obsessed enough with the idea of her daughter’s pubic hair to force monthly waxes on a child as a preventative measure seems to me to be a massive warning sign for sexual abuse. Is anyone close enough to report this woman to the state child protective services?

  Who cares what kind of warped rational this woman has come up with to justify her actions? The worth of inside or outside beauty is irrelevant to the fact that this woman is abusing her child. She is injecting botox illegally, without proper training, and risking nerve, muscle and bone damage to pursue her own fantasy.

   Maybe this is the only way this kid will ever make anything of herself in life. Her parents obviously lack intelligence and common sense so her chances are slim. Its either this or prostitution, personally I don’t really see the difference.
