PHOTOS: Which Fashion Star Ruled The ACE Awards Red Carpet?
Last night fancy fashion folk gathered for the 15th annual Accessories Council Excellence Awards. We love the ACE Awards because fashion event red carpets are generally pretty great, and it’s where Kanye told the world that fashion breaks his heart last year. There weren’t any groundbreaking speeches last night, but there were some lovely dresses. Let’s discuss!
ACE Influence of the Year Nicole Richie went dark and simple in a plunging Antonio Berardi number, while Agyness Deyn and Georgina Chapman wore slightly-less-basic black. (Deyn’s was by Rebecca Minkoff.) Coco Rocha‘s two-tone Zac Posen gown was paired with some major jewelry (that she designed for Senhoa!), Lauren Bush opted for metallic, and Petra Nemcova stood out from the crowd in a bright red ensemble. Who looked best? We’re inclined to say Carmen Dell’Orefice in a hot pink Philip Treacy hat wins everything always, but that’s just us.
