Raquel Zimmermann Channels Savage Beauty In McQueen Fall Ad

When we first saw an image from the Alexander McQueen fall 2011 ad campaign, we were sure it was actually some sort of last-ditch (and totally unnecessary) promotion for Savage Beauty‘s final week at the Met. Can you blame us?

Alas, it turns out it is indeed an ad for the fall collection. It’s also super rad. Raquel Zimmermann literally explodes in Sarah Burton‘s insanely intricate finale dress while trekking on rugged terrain in some crazy runway shoes. Talk about a memorable (and effective!) image. Do you dig it as much as we do?
