Alexander Skarsgård And Lara Stone Heat Up Calvin Klein’s Latest Ad

Ah, the age-old pairing of movie hunk and supermodel. It just never fails, does it?

Calvin Klein employed the unbeatable combo for their latest Steven Klein-lensed fragrance ads starring Alexander Skarsgård and Lara Stone. The men’s scent being hawked is called Encounter, and the campaign seems to suggest that it will conjure oceanic vibes, though you’ll have to wait for another installment of “Name That Scent” to find out what it really smells like.

“Their idea for their concept was very intriguing to me — it was almost like a short film, and very film noir. It felt interesting to me,” Skarsgård told WWD. “I wanted to be involved with something where you tell a story — even though it’s a short story.” It probably didn’t hurt that his co-star is one of the hottest models in the biz, either.

A television spot is also in the pipeline, and will no doubt feature ample face-caressing and smoldering glances.
