Happy Birthday, Alex Wang! A Look Back On His Best Moments Of 2012

To say that 2012 has treated Alexander Wang well would be an understatement. Sure, it got off to a rocky start with those sweatshop allegations, but with those dismissed and plenty else on his plate these days, we’re sure the only things the designer has on the brain now are Balenciaga and birthday cake, since today marks his big 2-9.

In honor of his many, many accomplishments this year (seriously, how is he not even 30 yet?), we’ve put together something of a highlight reel, from supermodel-laden catwalks to CFDA noms and beyond.

And with that, here’s to an ever bigger and better 2013! And maybe a glow-in-the-dark Wang piece hanging in our closet in the new year if we’re really, really lucky.

Model-turned-stylist-turned-model Erin Wasson was joined on the Spring catwalk by Liberty Ross, who was making her big comeback following the K Stew cheating scandal.
