Allure Denies Retouching Keira Knightley’s Nipple

Keira Knightley‘s right nipple, or lack thereof, on the December cover of Allure has been a hot topic these past few days. Was it airbrushed out, or is that just a fortuitously artful shadow? We’re leaning towards the former, but the mag’s editor-in-chief says otherwise.

Linda Wells emailed a well-crafted statement to The Cut:

“We didn’t do any surgery to Keira Knightley’s breasts — neither with a scalpel nor a retoucher.”
