American Apparel Uses Devastating Storm To Promote Sale

Hurricane Sandy has resulted in massive flooding, left around six million people without power, and has caused at least 11 deaths. But American Apparel is still trying to make a buck with a flash sale pegged to the epic storm.

We got an email from American Apparel last night about a 20 percent discount off everything in the store for the next 36 hours. The sale was only available to those in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Delware, Massachuetts, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, and Rhode Island. Or rather, just the states affected by Sandy. So even if you don’t have power, heat, or internet, you can still get a deal!

What’s even worse than that sale is that we’re not at all surprised! After all, it’s American Apparel.
