We Have Details On Angelina Jolie’s Stunning Engagement Ring

Last week, it seemed like the entire world was abuzz with news of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt‘s engagement. Yes, seven years and six kids later, Pitt popped the question. While ring designer Robert Procop stole the pair’s thunder by announcing their engagement, details about the ring are still trickling in.

Here we go:

It took Pitt and Procop a year to source the diamond and design the ring.
The diamond was cut into a rectangular shape to match Jolie’s hand (whatever that means).
Graduated emerald-cut stones surround the diamond and cover the band.
Jewelry expert Michael O’Connor told Us Weekly that the 16-carat ring is worth an estimated $500,000.
