WATCH: Anna Dello Russo Shares Her Closet With CNN
On Tuesday, one of our favorite Anna’s announced that she would be appearing on CNN International news and we were, quite naturally, a bit confused. What exactly would CNN want with the Italy-born, clotheshorse editor at large of Vogue Japan? Well, apparently what everyone else wants: a look inside her closet.
Embracing the “Fashion Addict” mantle given to her by the network, Anne Dello Russo tells interviewer Myleene Klass that she changes her outfit three times a day, every day. Why three? Well, one for the morning, one for the afternoon, and one for the evening, duh. She also recommends dancing naked before getting dressed, that way “your spirit will give you the right outfit” and likens herself at Paris Fashion Week to an Olympic athlete. “I really perform,” she explains.
Dello Russo admits that she starts planning her outfits six months ahead, but if she had to wear only one designer for the rest of her life, it would be Dolce & Gabbana. And finally, she loves Lady Gaga and thinks that gold cherry hat is the physical embodiment of her personality. “It’s happy!”
