Lady Gaga Turns Anna Dello Russo Into A Giddy Fangirl

Being Lady Gaga must be so very strange. Not only does she feel the need to travel by egg and birth guns in music videos, but she’s quite possibly one of the most famous people in the world — so famous, in fact, that some of her biggest fans are they themselves quite famous.

In the words of WWD, Lady Gaga found herself besieged backstage after Wednesday’s Mugler show by “a gaggle of hardcore fans,” which wouldn’t be particularly surprising if the trade paper of record wasn’t referring to Anna Dello Russo, Mario Testino, and Pucci designer Peter Dundas.

“I’m totally obsessed with her,” Dello Russo told WWD. “I cannot compare with her, please!” And later, after meeting her backstage, WWD describes Dello Russo as beside herself: “I told her, ‘You are my hero,’ and she said to me, ‘You are my hero.’ I said, ‘Lady Gaga, don’t joke with me. But at least leave me some outfits from the show.’”

Dello Russo might want to hold Gaga to that, because the Mother Monster was already spotted out and about Thursday night in a Mugler catsuit, right off the runway.
