WATCH: Anna Dello Russo Reveals Her April Fruit Hat, Talks Tennis
Longtime collaborators Tommy Ton and Anna Dello Russo have teamed up for an exhibition of their favorite photographs in Canadian department store The Bay’s Toronto location. And while visiting our neighbors (and fellow countrymen and women!) in the Great White North, Ton and Dello Russo stopped by The Marilyn Denis Show to talk fashion, inspiration, and how to pose properly for all those cameras.
While our favorite part of the interview might be when ADR explains the reasoning behind her ever-changing fruit hats and reveals that she’d had an egg one made especially for Easter, the case she made for taking fashion risks that was particularly compelling. “You have to practice,” she told Denis. “It’s like playing tennis. If you don’t practice, you never have this kind of stretch. It’s not about one shot. Everyday you need to try. And then you will smash!”
