PHOTOS: Anna Wintour Is A 3-Time Chanel Outfit Repeater

Anna Wintour, you are an outfit repeater! We totally appreciate a little wardrobe recycling, but this is the third time in almost as many months that Anna has worn the same Chanel dress to a high-profile event. What gives?

When she first wore the zig-zag cream creation to December’s CFDA Awards, we thought it was a pretty standard Anna choice that was appropriate for the evening. When she donned the same dress for January’s China State Dinner, we thought she looked underdressed; we also realized she was an outfit repeater.

Now Anna has chosen to wear the dress yet again, this time to a Chanel dinner for Blake Lively during Paris Fashion Week. Sure, the dress is nice, but why has she now worn it three times to fancy (and well-documented) shindigs? We don’t even do that, and we’re only worried about Facebook photos! Couldn’t she have picked up something new for the party? It’s just…confusing.

    I don’t think it’s a problem. She used the same dress but she used different accessories in all of the occasions. Maybe she’s trying to set an example by recycling dresses in these times where everything has a budget. Not everyone can go out to buy a dress every time there’s an event and in Wintour’s case every time’s all the time. Plus she’s Anna Wintour, she can do whatever she wants. If I had a Chanel dress I’d probably wear it to sleep too.

    My Chanel pants oost me 1800. i can’t think home much an Chanel suit cost. I will wear my suit as much as I want. Good for you Anna! Wear what you buy as much as you like.

    At least she changed her accessories. But I agree. That zigzag pattern is WAY to recognizable to repeat this frequently.
