Is Anne Hathaway’s McQueen Dress Too Long And/Or Short?

At today’s London premiere of One Day, Anne Hathaway wore an oddly lengthed Alexander McQueen dress. We would like to discuss it with you.

The white tape ribbon embroidered dress from the resort 2012 collection is pretty, but it hits Hathaway right at the ankle. Shouldn’t it be six inches longer? Or shorter? Or something? She paired it with a white skull clutch, caramel peep-toes, and an arm full of bracelets.

Do you like what Hathaway has going on? Or are you confused by the length (or lack thereof)?

I think it is how it is because that’s how the people at McQueen wanted it to be, and it looks lovely on her. The only reason it may look slightly awkward is the way Anne is standing and the fishtail.
