Has there ever been a more fashionable episode of Saturday Night Live than this weekend’s? Vogue‘s December cover girl Anne Hathaway hosted the show, while November’s “red hot” star Rihanna provided the musical stylings.

Last week we saw Hathaway play up her tomboy side in the promo clip, but during the live show she got girly in a slew of high fashion frocks. None quite as high fashion as her custom Valentino wedding gown of course, but then that would just be overkill. Rihanna, meanwhile, was her usual edgy self, albeit a tad more clothed than in her last SNL appearance. Have you always wondered what goes with a trippy screensaver of a backdrop?
