Anne Hathaway’s Interview Cover Looks Awfully Familiar
The September cover of Interview has leaked, and Anne Hathaway is fronting the glossy with lace draped across her face. It’s very, very pretty…but doesn’t it look a tad familiar?
Yes, it does! For the August issue of Vogue Deutsch, Miles Aldridge photographed Claudia Schiffer in a lace eye mask. And models wore lace eye masks in Chanel‘s fall couture show. And the image is also reminiscent of Carine Roitfeld as shot by Karl Lagerfeld for Visionaire. That last one is super interesting because, um, according to the cover lines KARL INTERVIEWED CARINE FOR THE ISSUE. We’re having heart palpitations. This. Will. Be. Epic.
Anyway, back to the Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott-shot cover. There’s yet another layer of familiarity, as Hathaway totally looks like Liv Tyler. So, there’s that. Here you go:
