You have fifteen days left until Les Miserables lands at your neighborhood theater and you spend your Christmas day stifling agoraphobia and sobbing through Anne Hathaway’s solos. Until then, we have a behind-the-scenes look at what went into each of the cast members’ prodigious makeovers, including Hugh Jackman’s decaying teeth, Hathaway’s haircut, and Helena Bonham-Carter’s “comedic relief” rosy cheeks. Fun fact: both director Tom Hooper and makeup artist Lisa Westcott actively discouraged Hathaway from lopping off her real hair, but to no avail.
