April Fools! A Roundup Of Yesterday’s Best Fashion Pranks

Did we fool you this morning with our Kate Middleton/Terry Richardson post? Sorry about that! As far as we know, no Harper’s Bazaar cover is in the works with these two, but hey, we can dare to dream, right?

We weren’t the only ones celebrating the spirit of the day, however. Plenty of fashionable people around the interwebs got in on the pranking action.

1.Refinery 29 Takes a Trip Back to the Eighties

Refinery 29 (sorry, we mean Refinery 89) seriously committed to their prank today, redesigning the whole site to celebrate the year 1989. Among the posts they published were an obituary for Diana Vreeland, a celebration of Anna Wintour’s first year at Vogue (will she last?!), and an introduction to “new face” Kate Moss.

2.Fashionista Reports: Kanye to Take the Reigns at Dior

Dhani Mau found the one person who has yet to be rumored to be replacing John Galliano...and threw his name into the ring. Since we're talking about Kanye West, well, we'll pretty much believe anything.

3.Into The Gloss Has a New Subject and His Name is Patrick Bateman

Emily Weiss really struck gold with this one. The beauty blogger took a look at Bateman's fitness and grooming routines, with some pretty stellar visual accompaniments.
