Maxim Chops Off Avril’s Arm To Enhance Her Waist

Apparently Avril Lavigne didn’t have quite the exact chest to waist to hips ratio Maxim was looking for when they shot her for their November cover. The eagle eyes at Yeeah noticed that in order to rectify that, the post-production peeps at Maxim simply shaved off three quarters of her arm.

It looks like Lavigne’s arm was originally bent at the elbow and pressed against her torso, and in order to add some increased definition to her waist, they removed the arm and added the curve.

Barring that, whatever happened, there is now a large white space where her elbow should be.
