The only thing cooler than being the editor in chief of Vogue or French Vogue, is being the editor in chief of Vogue or French Vogue’s daughter. Think of the wardrobes they get to raid, the parties they get to attend, the perks of their parents’ professions of which they get to be the lucky beneficiaries.
Bee Shaffer and Julia Restoin Roitfeld, daughters of Anna Wintour and Carine Roitfeld, respectively, have both been major players in the American and European social scene thanks to their mothers’ fame. And impeccable taste seems to run in the Wintour/Roitfled blood, earning both Shaffer and Roitfeld coveted spots on international best dressed lists.
The rivalry that is French Vogue vs. American Vogue is one that will never be settled. (They even made a movie about it!) So, we figured we may as well bring the daughters into the mix.
