PHOTOS: Olivia Looked Like C-3PO, Elle Wore Rodarte

The festive season is indeed upon us — there were so many events that went down this weekend! While we stayed in our sweats and blogged about Willow, Hollywood’s elite put on their finest frocks and partied like it was almost 2011.

1.Kate Bosworth

At the Hollywood Style Awards, Kate paired a simple white tee with a floor-length green Jil Sander skirt. Her strong pink lip stood in contrast to her otherwise minimal makeup and accessories.

2.Camilla Belle

Camilla also attended the awards, albeit in a light grey Kimberly Ovitz number. We don't really like the dress's folding overlay, but do appreciate her complementary grey nails.

3.Olivia Wilde

Olivia looked uncomfortable in gilded Pucci at the Tron world premiere. The gown has a C-3PO-meets-Studio-54 vibe... and probably weighs at least half her body weight.

4.Rachel Bilson

At the Spike TV Video Game Awards, Rachel opted for a grey-blue (bley? grue?) knit Dior frock. The intricate detailing is pretty up close, but the look itself doesn't quite work.

5.Elle Fanning

12-year-old Elle wore a structural Rodarte dress to the New York screening of Somewhere. Our favorite part of her outfit are the Nicholas Kirkwood for Rodarte wedges she wore with sheer white socks.

6.Sofia Coppola

Somewhere director Sofia joined Elle at the screening in black ankle-length pants and a sequined sleeveless top. Sofia is normally one of our style faves, but she was totally showed up by a 12-year-old. And what's with the white tank underneath her shirt?

7.Christina Ricci

At the New York Stage & Film Winter Gala, Christina wore a stunning Zac Posen ombre crisscross dress. She accessorized with a black clutch, a pair of black platforms and nude nails.
