PHOTOS: The 7 Best Dressed Stars At The People’s Choice Awards

The People’s Choice Awards are no Oscars, that’s for sure, but stars like Taylor Swift, Chloe Moretz, and Ellen Pompeo still rocked the red carpet in some great ensembles. From simple gowns to neon frocks, we were pleasantly surprised by (some of) the looks, and we’ve rounded up the best of the best right here.

Taylor Swift ditched her girly gowns for a white-hot Ralph Lauren gown with a plunging, down-to-there neckline, and finished the mature look with a tousled updo, smokey eyes, and turquoise drop earrings. Chloe Moretz‘s neon Simone Rocha frock was super cute and fresh, and, most importantly, age-appropriate. Ellen Pompeo‘s pleated cream Lanvin dress is perhaps the least red carpet-y ensemble of the night (that honor went to Lea Michele‘s short, sheer, and sequined Elie Saab number), and that’s why the simple, effortless dress ruled.
