How will we remember 2011? Probably as The Year When All That Stuff Happened. There was no shortage of scandal and intrigue, public unrest and famous people dying. But there were also weddings, births, record-breaking auctions and amazing clothes presented on every catwalk. Which is why we’d like to remember this year’s best moments in fashion — as a reminder that when the rest of the world talks, the fashion world listens, responds and grows.
Great fashion moments aren’t just relegated to great fashion people. 2011 was the year newscasters provided us with some of our favorite fashion moments — from excellent style choices to fun interviews to downright hysterical coverage. We really do owe a thanks to Anderson Cooper, Barbara Walters, Brian Williams, and all of the other media folks who made this year memorable.
Can someone please explain to me what it is about this Vivienne Westwood that merits a nod on the “Best Newscaster Fashion Moments” list? I seriously don’t get it. This particular choice seems to be about slamming Fox News; not about fashion.
