PHOTOS: Every Single Look From Last Night’s BET Awards

The red carpet at last night’s BET Awards in Los Angeles was like a runway of sorts. Ladies wore every style imaginable — from mini dresses to harem pants to couture confections. Some were obviously better dressed than others, but which lady looked best?

Our best dressed vote goes to Beyoncé, who looked amazing in a couture design by Stéphane Rolland. She skipped the red carpet, but couldn’t escape the photogs while sitting next to husband Jay-Z. Selita Ebanks also looked fierce in a printed Falguni and Shane Peacock gown. She pulled off the look with ease, and the dress fit the statuesque model perfectly. And we don’t want to admit it, but Kim Kardashian actually looked great in a white Tom Ford dress. The front of the dress is simple, but the exposed zipper in the back is undeniably sexy. She chose the hue to match boyfriend Kanye West‘s all-white ensemble. And fun fact: Katniss Jennifer Lawrence wore the black version of Ford’s dress while promoting The Hunger Games earlier this year.

Conversely, Kerry Washington, Regina King, and LaLa Anthony didn’t impress on the red carpet. Washington’s Joseph Altuzarra bustier and J. Mendel skirt seemed way too casual for the event. The nude hue made her look naked, and the overall ensemble was just plain boring. Yawn. King’s look, however, made us giggle. The loose turquoise pants were ridiculous — they remind us of Princess Jasmin‘s bottoms. Anthony’s glittery Lois London jumpsuit was unflattering, to say the least. The loose fit and drop-crotch were a heinous combination.

We also have to give a shout out to the dudes. Busta Rhymes celebrated July 4th early with an American flag tank, while Hosea Chanchez and Miguel Jontel Pimente wore awesome monochromatic suits. And last but not least, Jermaine Dupri was preppy to the extreme.

    Sorry but I don’t agree that kim looks good in this dress. At least her cleavage is not as extreme and in-your-face as with so many of her outfits but she’s just so out of whack with her huge (artificial) boobs and huge (artificial) butt. Maybe a better bra would help. The recent work on her face has made her look older, probably not the look she’s going for. Everything she does to herself just makes her look more like a caricature. I think her mother is responsible for most of it – her sisters have much more style and class instead of just trying to look like a sex object. She has certainly succeeded in being a sex object but never in achieving any real style or classiness. But I guess the $$ goes with being a sex object, and that’s what kim and kris are all about. IMHO.
