It’s always heartwarming to hear when stars do something good with all their power (and, let’s be honest, money). Today, Beyoncé , Leona Lewis , and Natalia Vodianova make helping others a priority, and share the spotlight with an array of philanthropic efforts.

1. Beyoncé for Chime For Change
Bey has joined Gucci for Chime For Change , an initiative that aims to empower females by raising funds for various global projects. She and fellow spokesperson Salma Hayek will announce the project today at a luncheon, and will show a short film that gives more details of Chime For Change, which you can watch here . Queen B told British Vogue : "I have always felt strongly about equal opportunity for women. Girls have to be taught from early on that they are strong and capable of being anything they want to be. It's up to us to change the statistics for women around the world. I'm honored to be in the company of women who live fearlessly and set an example for the next generation of young ladies."
2. Leona Lewis for The Body Shop
The Body Shop has tapped British artist Leona Lewis on a limited edition collection of cruelty-free makeup and fragrance. The company, which has been a long-time supporter of animal rights and cruelty-free products, and Lewis are also asking customers to sign an in-store pledge to support Cruelty Free International ’s petition for a global ban on animal-testing for cosmetic purposes.
“The fact is that there are alternative tests that are far more superior to testing on animals,” she told WWD . “It’s a cruel, barbaric and an unnecessary process. This cruelty can end if we speak out loud enough and I urge everyone to sign this pledge.”
3. Natalia Vodianova for the Naked Heart Foundation
Vodianova has designed stilettos in several color ways with Russian retailer, Centro , to raise money for her Naked Heart Foundation . Select styles from the Natalia Vodianova for Centro collection will be sold at Net-A-Porter beginning March 1, and all the profits will go toward Vodianova's charity.
She told British Vogue : "I think that looking good and doing good go really well together. I am hoping that the beautiful spring/summer 2013 footwear collection that I created for Centro will not only make every girl feel like a princess, but also provide an opportunity to change the world for the better by supporting the Naked Heart Foundation."
