PHOTOS: Beyoncé’s Latest Cosmo Cover Has Us Seeing Double

If Beyoncé‘s cover for Cosmopolitan UK‘s April issue looks familiar, well, it should! The British magazine used the same photo that Vanity Fair chose for a cover back in 2005.

Reusing cover photos is a weird magazine practice that we don’t quite understand, but when it does happen, international editions of mags are generally involved. Interestingly, Vanity Fair was accused of lightening Beyoncé’s skin on the original cover six years ago. Both VF and Beyoncé denied any such retouching. Conversely, Russian Glamour darkened the singer’s skin on their June 2009 cover, which used the same picture that appeared on the December 2007 cover of Joy.
