WATCH: Beyonce Wears Exactly One Costume In Dance For You Video

We think Beyonce‘s wardrobe department may have run out of steam. Instead of the multiple costume changes we’ve seen in the other music videos she’s produced for her new album 4, the video for the new single Dance For You includes exactly one costume.

The video looks like a sexed-up version of one of those 1940s film noir detective stories, where a beautiful woman in a trench coat appeals to a hard-boiled private eye for help. And that’s almost exactly how the video starts, until Beyonce takes off her shiny trench and reveals that her fishnets are there to werk.

Beyonce’s dance can’t exactly be called a striptease, because she really doesn’t take anything off — the dress, the jewels and the hosiery all stay intact and in place. Even her hair, which she whips around her head not a few times, manages to come back to the same wavy location it started from. We wonder how she does that?
