WATCH: Behind-The-Scenes Of Beyoncé’s Racy GQ Cover (UPDATED)
Say what you will about Terry Richardson, celebrities sure seem to love him. Beyoncé took it (almost) all off for the photographer on the February cover of GQ, and this behind-the-scenes video shows Queen Bey goofing around on set, laughing with the crew, and, of course, shooting smoldering stares at the camera.
While the final spread shows the pop star in various states of undress, clutching a football helmet, jumping on a bed, and owning the mic next to a pop art self-portrait, the B-roll also captures a setup or two that didn’t quite make the cut. Towards the end, Beyoncé frolics in front of a refrigerator with a bag of flour, playfully throwing it at the photog and striking a cheeky pose.
Another factoid we learn? That white Gucci button-down she’s wearing in the microphone shot was most definitely taped down.
UPDATE: Unfortunately, we’ve been asked by GQ to take the video down. We’ll update accordingly when we can.
UPDATE #2: It’s here! For real this time. Check out the full video below, and read parts of the interview that didn’t make the cut over at GQ.com, including Bey’s response to the rumors that she faked her pregnancy (“people will just go too far sometimes”), her experience singing with Destiny’s Child (“We could walk into a room and not give each other the key and sing in perfect harmony”), and how giving birth made her understand “the power of being a woman.”
