Has Blake Lively’s Gucci Campaign Caused A Feud With Chanel?
The plot in the battle of the Blake Lively-helmed ad campaigns thickens!
The New York Post reports that Blake, who is currently an ambassador for Chanel, was not spotted at the house’s Paris couture show, which took place just before she announced that she would be the face of Gucci Première. She then wore a Gucci stunner on the Savages red carpet, and after that those eerily similar ads came out.
However, sources told NYP that nothing is wrong:
“Blake is still an ambassador to Chanel and regularly keeps in touch with designer Karl Lagerfeld. She was invited to the couture show but couldn’t make it because she was promoting Savages. She still wears Chanel whenever she can.”
Phew, that’s a relief. We certainly hope it’s true — there’s no reason the two fashion giants can’t play nice and share!
