Are Blake Lively’s Gucci And Chanel Ads Too Similar?

Blake Lively‘s new ads for Gucci Première have surfaced, and they look…familiar.

In the Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott-lensed Gucci ads, Lively looks longingly out of a window, and her face is reflected. As the Daily Telegraph points out, in one of her Chanel Mademoiselle ads shot by Karl Lagerfeld, Lively stars into a mirror, which also shows off her flawless reflection.

While the ads seem similar at first, both images do give off different vibes. In the Gucci ads, Lively exudes Old Hollywood glamour sporting Veronica Lake waves in a backless dress, while she gives off a younger feel with tousled strands in the Chanel ads.
