PHOTOS: Blake’s Envy-Inducing Spread For Marie Claire

We love Blake Lively because she’s gorgeous, talented, and seems like someone we could be friends with. But every now and then we start to second guess ourselves and wonder if we aren’t confusing love with some serious Single White Female obsession with being her — and the October issue of UK Marie Claire is not helping.

Between the colors, the clothing, and Lively’s adorable dog — we’re sold. And what we wouldn’t pay to be photographed in some dim, sepia-toned lighting. Is there anything more flattering?

Anyway, Lively also explains how she ended up on Anna Wintour’s arm during Paris Fashion Week, besides the obvious, of course — that Wintour’s just as obsessed with her as we are.

From the excerpt Marie Claire posted online:

I was speaking with Anna Wintour,’ Blake says, casually name-dropping the famed editor of American Vogue, ‘and we were just talking about different fashion houses and I said, “I love Chanel”, and she said, “You should come with me to the show”. I also said I loved Dior. She said “OK, well I’ll take you to the Chanel and Dior shows and we’ll meet with Karl and John [Galliano] afterwards. Insane!’

Ha ha! That reminds us of the time we were sharing a plate of oysters with Anna and Karl, when something we said made her laugh so hard champagne came out of her nose, and then Karl pulled out his 3000 thread count handkerchief and… oh wait, that never happened.
