Babyoncé’s Toy And Furniture Collection Is Already Worth $1.5 Million
Wanna know something ridiculous? Blue Ivy Carter, the 4-day-old daughter of Jay-Z and Beyoncé, already has a collection of stuff that’s worth way more than the average American home. In her nursery.
The New York Post reports that the littlest Carter’s trappings are more luxurious than some well paid financial executives. Blue’s dad is said to have given her a $600,000 solid gold rocking horse from Japanese jeweler Ginza Tanaka, and when she gets tired of playing around on that she’ll go to sleep in a $20,000 crib shaped like a carriage from ultra expensive children’s furniture maker PoshTots.
If that wasn’t enough (and you know it wasn’t), Blue’s otherwise normal high chair is rumored to be encrusted with Swarovski crystals. Which means it cost a whopping $15,000.
Don’t expect the famously private Carter family to confirm what they’re spending on little Blue. We’re pretty sure the only reason we know she exists is because Beyonce couldn’t appear publicly in the later stages of her pregnancy without letting the world know what was up, so we’re certain that the $1.5 million estimate on Blue’s stuff has a healthy bit of speculation mixed in. But that doesn’t change the fact that if Jay-Z and Beyonce really wanted to spend $1.5 million in the first four days of their daughter’s life, they could. And probably would.
